Leadership

I am fortunate to have the love and support of my entire family. Pictured here are my wife, boys and my daughter-in-law. I remember daily to be thankful for them and all the blessings I have in my life.
We have raised 3 wonderful boys together. Phillip is the oldest and is married to Megan Shelton. My wife had Megan in her class when she was in the 8^th grade and again for A+ tutoring. So she had no trouble fitting into our family! Phillip has started the paperwork to enter the Air Force and is waiting for approval.

Jacob is our middle son and he’s 21. He has enlisted for 6 years active duty with the Air Force and will be leaving in June to pursue a career in security forces. He has always dreamed of being in law enforcement and also wants to serve his country. Our youngest, Justin is 16 and he will be a sophomore at West Plains High School this fall. He is very involved in band and will be in FFA next year. He also loves to bowl, hunt and trap shoot.

I would like to introduce you to my wife of 27 years, Dena Shannon. She graduated from Liberty High School in Mountain View. Then attended MSU West Plains and Springfield where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She earned a Masters in Middle School Education from Drury in Springfield. She has been a teacher for 16 years and currently teaches 8^th grade science. She is dedicated to her job and her students as well as to her family. We are so lucky to have each other; we have always supported each other in every way. She is the treasurer for my campaign committee and will be working beside me during my bid for re-election.
