Mike and his three sisters attended Fairview Elementary School.  Below is a picture of Mike's 2nd Grade Class posing with their teacher, Mrs. White, during the 1965-66 school year.  Mike is holding the sign with one of his classmates.

After graduating from the 8th grade at Fairview, Mike attended West Plains High School where he graduated in 1976.
